Progression from Lv300 to Lv499
Summary
A starting point for checking the Lv300 Rune slots and the published Skill requirements for Lv500 and beyond.
If you have unlocked Runes, you get 4 equipment slots at Lv300. At Lv500, you meet the level requirement for the first tier of stat nodes beyond the Buddy branch. You still need the prerequisite nodes and Skill Points to actually learn them.
In response to a Q&A about being unsure which way to develop your character, one answer suggested aiming for the Lv500 stat nodes while considering which direction to develop in. This is not a mandatory progression order for every build.
Player feedback: choosing where to run
In response to the question “the latest Stage or a high-difficulty one just before it?”, answers suggested choosing based on where the desired Equipment drops, and separating your goals between EXP and Equipment farming. The poster’s Lv is unknown, so this should not be treated as the optimal choice for this level range alone.
For published Equipment stats and drop locations, see Equipment list. For how builds work and player advice, see Equipment combinations and build basics. For checking game mechanics when you can’t win, see How to progress and level-range guides.
In response to a question about how to progress around Lv300, one answer suggested running a place where you can reliably earn EXP, choosing a Job to match the Equipment you find, and progressing further. For a player stuck at Bagel on Normal, a specific suggestion was to target a Tomahawk from Bagel and compare Physical ATK Runes. Another answer also suggested running Abyss in Worldline. These are examples of options for the destination and weapon in those particular questions, not a universal procedure based on the assumption that Lv alone is why you’re losing.
