Rune Slots and Drop Rates
There are up to 4 Rune slots. The public help does not list the unlock conditions for the 2nd slot and beyond. The more pulls you make, the more likely you are to get powerful Runes.
The “Speed%” rolled by the Rune Gacha is a separate effect from the fixed Speed bonus on Equipment. At slot 1, the maximum is +43% at Gacha Lv33. Slots 2 and 3 use a lower Gacha Lv for their calculations, so the conditions for reaching the same value differ. Meeting the conditions does not guarantee that you will get the effect or value you want.
“Quick Recommend” does not include Runes as selectable targets. “Detailed Recommend” includes combinations of Equipment, Jobs, Runes, and Buddies as selectable targets.
How the Recommend Feature Treats Runes
What does the Rune crown compare?
The crown marks how a value compares to the maximum for the conditions of the slot with that effect. Since the maximum is calculated under different conditions for each slot, the maximum used for comparison changes based on the slot position, even at the same Gacha Lv.
Does “Ideal Value 100% or Lower” for Rune Salvage only salvage low values?
No. 100% or lower includes the highest values too. It targets unequipped, unlocked Runes that meet conditions such as the selected number of effects. Lock Runes you want to keep first, and check the number of targets before proceeding. Salvaged Runes cannot be restored.
Are a Rune’s “ideal value percentage” and its crown based on the same criteria?
They use different criteria. For mass Salvage, the ideal value is a position between the minimum value at 0% and the maximum value available at your current Gacha Lv at 100%. For Runes with multiple effects, the best effect is used for evaluation. The crown marks how the value compares to the maximum for that slot’s conditions.
Information Wanted
We’re looking for players who have experience selecting Runes to suit their build or goals. Tell us which effects and values you kept and what comparisons you made.
Can I strengthen Runes I already own?
There is no way to increase the values of Runes you already own. Your Gacha Lv increases based on your total number of Rune Gacha pulls, raising the maximum values rolled for newly pulled Runes. Pull Runes with good effects and values, then equip them. Raising your Gacha Lv does not increase the values of Runes you already own.
Do Runes with 2 or 3 effects all have the same maximum values?
効果の枠位置で抽選上限が変わります。1枠目はガチャLvそのまま、2枠目はLvの半分、3枠目はLvの3分の1で上限を計算します。効果ごとの幅は補正の一覧で確認できます。
Can I get Magi Runes from the Rune Gacha?
Magi Runes are made by combining regular Runes. They unlock by clearing “Faran Power Lake,” and you use 1 Magi Gear Part from “Inventory → Crafting → Rune.” Values are rerolled from the minimum up to the strength of the original Rune. The 1st effect always remains, the 2nd remains with a 50% chance, and the 3rd with a 25% chance. The number of effects does not increase, and the original regular Rune cannot be restored. Magi Runes are equipped in the same slots as regular Runes.
Where can I get the Magi Treasure Attraction Rune?
