Summary
We'll summarize the public Skill requirements at Lv500, 700, and 900, along with player build advice.
| Lv | Stat nodes at the ends of Buddy branches |
|---|---|
| 500 | Lv requirement for the first tier |
| 700 | Lv requirement for the next tier |
| 900 | Lv requirement for a later tier |
In a Q&A with a Warden before progressing to Paradox, one answer suggested gathering and upgrading Mammoths in Graphite. Another piece of advice, in response to a player aiming for Limit Break +99, was not to just wait until everything was complete, but to occasionally try a later Stage and check what Equipment to work toward next. A mistaken Runs destination in one answer has been corrected in the version shown here.
Players shared examples of reallocating some Magic ATK and Magic DEF from the Lv500, 700, and 900 stat nodes to Speed, as well as an example of changing Jobs after passing Lv1000. These were experiences from players comparing the cost of acquiring each stat, not a recommendation to give up defense on every Job. They also checked the requirements for weapons and Set Skills.
Meeting the Lv requirement alone is not enough to learn a Skill. You can check prerequisites, required points for each rank, and effect values in the Skill List and the in-game tree. We do not present any particular stat choice as an official recommendation.
In response to a Duelist who was having trouble upgrading Equipment after Abacus, one answer suggested gathering “Photosynthetic Clearwing Moth” in Horeris and “Mammoth” in Graphite, and also leveling up. Photosynthetic Clearwing Moth was also mentioned in a Q&A about a physical two-handed weapon build stuck in Ocean. However, one player said they had trouble because its healing uses Magic ATK, which they had not raised. These are not examples that guarantee a weapon name alone will solve the problem.
In response to a Magic build that had reached Trial Hard, one answer suggested that Equipment used during leveling would eventually be replaced, so the player should first level up wherever they could manage Runs, and consider fine-tuning Equipment and Runes after passing Lv1000. This was the answerer's priority, not an official rule that Equipment and Skills need not be checked until Lv1000.
In response to a player who had reached Ruby Hard, one suggested progression path was to gather Equipment there once they could clear Ruby Spiral, then look for the Equipment they needed in Paradox Trial. This is the order of options suggested by the answerer, not a fixed unlock sequence or a build that anyone can win with.
In response to a question about reliably running Grape Extreme Spiral, one answer suggested testing in “Practice” after clearing it once to check stability. This is an example of a player's approach to distinguishing a one-time win from reliable Runs.
In response to a question about improving durability, one answer suggested referring to a Paladin's public build among the top players in the Ranking. This was advice for the question's goal, not a recommendation for every Job.
In response to a question about whether a Warden should raise Magic ATK or Speed, one player shared their experience of acquiring Speed first after Lv500, then moving to the Magic side after acquiring most of the Lv700 Speed nodes. This was the poster's own acquisition order, not an optimal order shared by every Equipment build.
In response to the question “the latest Stage or a higher difficulty one just before it?”, one answer suggested choosing based on where the desired Equipment drops and separating the goals of EXP and gathering Equipment. The poster's Lv is unknown, so this should not be treated as the optimal answer for this level range.
In a separate Q&A comparing EXP efficiency across Runs destinations, one answer suggested considering EXP per unit of time separately from EXP per Attempt. This is a player's view that the priorities differ when doing many Runs in a short time versus leveling with a limited number of Attempts.
For public Equipment stats and drop locations, see Equipment List; for build mechanics and player advice, see Equipment Combinations and Build Basics; for checking mechanics when you can't win, see How to Progress and Level-Range Guides.
We're looking for examples of Equipment, Set Skills, and leveling that worked in Paradox. Please share your Lv, destination, and what worked.
Tell us which Runs destinations you compared for EXP farming and what results you got. We're looking for Records that include Lv, difficulty, build, EXP, time taken, and win rate.
In response to a player who could run Grape Hard but lost partway through Extreme Spiral, one answer suggested stacking “Grape of Wrath” in Hard, gathering “Mammoth” in Graphite, and comparing Sage-type accessories. In a separate Warden Q&A, “Highbush” was suggested; in a physical two-handed build Q&A, “Fingered Citron” and “White Sage” were mentioned as options. These are not officially required Equipment, but examples of player choices for builds at the time of the questions.
In response to a Warden who couldn't reliably clear Worldline Depths Paradox, one answer suggested gathering MCH Armor and Seraphic Board in the Paradox Trial Corridor ahead, and reviewing Pet leveling as well. Another piece of advice was not to decide to switch based on Equipment names alone, but to compare the current item with the alternative in terms of Quality and ATK after Limit Break.
My level suddenly became much harder to raise from Lv1000
Starting at the step from Lv1000 to 1001, the baseline EXP for each 20 Lv interval is multiplied by 30. The required EXP at this step is 31,181,400. It then increases smoothly up to a 50x multiplier, and from 1099 to 1100 onward, it is multiplied by another 3. The cap is Lv2000. EXP modifiers and EXP x2 affect the amount gained; they are separate from the required EXP.
In discussions about whether to raise every piece of Equipment to +99 before progressing to Paradox, players suggested both collecting them to +99 and starting Paradox Runs with Akeron +60, Mammoth +25, and Rare accessories around +30. One answer said they compared Quality, G, performance after upgrading, and the build, rather than replacing Equipment based on Rarity alone. This does not mean +99 is a requirement for everyone.
In response to a public question about Duelist Set builds, multiple answers suggested “鍔迫り合い・攻勢・チャージ”. In a separate question about Skill allocation, players mentioned Physical ATK, Speed, and Critical; in a Paladin Q&A, advice also came up to compare number of hits rather than only Physical DEF and HP. These are player build examples, and choices vary with Job, weapon, and opponent.
In Q&As about two-handed Magic weapons, public player answers mentioned gathering Silver back alongside Star Ruby, aiming for Seraphic Board alongside MCH Armor, and considering Codex Atlanticus. These were not results from comparing performance rankings under the same conditions. For Duelist Runs destinations, one answer suggested gathering Heshikiri Hasebe first if the player could manage it, while another suggested progressing by stacking Photosynthetic Clearwing Moth. The number and success of Limit Breaks vary depending on Equipment, Quality, and Skills; no specific number of Runs is guaranteed.
In public Q&As about gathering Shards, answers suggested Trial Corridor, Heroes' Worldline, and Worldline Depths Paradox, while another suggested gathering Epic Equipment in the Ice Cave of Gram Snowfield. These are gameplay experiences shared as unverified impressions of efficiency. One player who tried Trial Paradox was defeated in one hit, so the assumption is that you compare destinations you can manage. Also check your Settings beforehand to make sure desired Equipment is not salvaged.
One answer suggested that after picking up 1 Star Ruby, it may be better to move on to gather other Equipment rather than stack more. Players also shared their experience of using whether it outperforms their current weapon, whether they are having trouble with defense, and whether they can reliably run Ruby as criteria for deciding whether to target Heshikiri Hasebe or Star Ruby first. No fixed Limit Break count was given as a switching condition for everyone.
In response to a Paladin who couldn't beat a Paradox boss, one answer suggested reviewing Speed to ensure enough turns to apply a Shield after acting, and considering Sub Shield Bash and HP, DEF, and Speed Runes. This was another angle besides simply increasing DEF; the player replied that they would try reallocating stats and adding the effects. No report confirming a successful clear is available.
In response to a player around Lv700 who wanted to gather LG, one player suggested Worldline Depths Spiral as a place to run while increasing the variety of Legendary options, and recommended running Extreme or lower if it was too difficult. This is an approach to using surplus drops while gathering the desired Equipment, not a ranking based on comparing the efficiency of all Stages. Check the target items so that needed Equipment is not salvaged or allocated.
