Unique Drops
Only specific enemies drop Rare or better Equipment. This is rolled separately from normal Common and Uncommon drops.
Base rates on Boss Floors are Rare 3%, Epic 2%, and Legendary 1%. Non-boss Floors use 1/5 of those rates.
When multiple unique drops are possible, the rate is divided among them. OG Legendary items have half the base rate. The Codex shows each candidate's rate by difficulty and G.
Extra effects such as “2× drop rate” and Pet bonuses apply separately. The base rate is not the chance of obtaining one within 1 Run and does not guarantee a drop after any number of Runs.
β Worldline bosses roll for Magi Gear first, then roll for a unique drop only if that fails. You can obtain 1 item from either group.
If the Gear you roll is strictly inferior to Gear you own—same category and element, with equal or lower G, Quality, and element value, and no Skill—it becomes 1 Magi Gear Parts instead of entering your Inventory. You can disable this under Inventory → Gear → Salvage on Pickup.
When “Salvage All Gear Without Skills” is ON under Inventory → Gear → Salvage on Pickup, Gear without Skills is converted into Parts regardless of G or Quality, while Gear with Skills is kept. This is OFF by default and does not salvage Gear you already own.
Equip the “β Drop Attraction” Rune earned by clearing β3 100 times to focus all winning rolls on either Gear or unique Equipment without changing the total chance.
Effects that raise unique drop rates, such as a Pet's Appraisal and 2× drop rate, also apply to Magi Gear dropped by β Worldline bosses.
Enemy details in the Codex list their unique drops.
If you want a specific piece of Equipment, run the Dungeon where that enemy appears.
