Limit Break
Clearing Kamuri Mine Tunnels added the Limit Break tab to Crafting.
Use Equipment with the same name and grade as materials. Two-Handed Weapons gain +0.5; other Equipment gains +1 (max +99). Gains taper off in stages; at +99, stats are about ×3.1. Limit Break progress and fused properties on materials carry over. The G, Quality, and random modifiers of the base you keep remain unchanged, and reforged modifiers on materials do not transfer. Raising the Quality cap or the Limit Break + value does not raise G. After using 1 materials, the new + value is “base + value + material + value + newly added value.” If the base is +10 and the material is +5, a Two-Handed Weapon becomes +15.5, while other Equipment becomes +16. Existing + values are not changed. If the Fusion slot limit is exceeded, choose which effects to keep. The cost is Shards and scales with grade. High-Quality Transfer: If a material has higher Quality, you can keep it as the base instead. As with Limit Break, this unlocks after clearing “Kamuri Mine Tunnels.” The total + value and fused properties carry over using the same calculation, while the higher-Quality Equipment's Quality and random modifiers remain. If the selected Equipment is equipped, the surviving Equipment is placed in that slot. Even at +99, you can transfer it to higher-Quality Equipment.
